Time to Ship
Most orders ship the next business day, and nearly all ship within 2 business days. However, we can not make guarantees about the exact date your order will leave our facilities. We can not anticipate periods of extremely high order volume, inclement weather conditions, acts of God, or other circumstances that may affect the ability of your package to ship within the normal timeframe.Preferred Carriers
Our preferred shipping carrier is USPS, and all rates are calculated using USPS methods. If you have your own preferred carrier, please send us a message to that effect so that we may adjust the shipping charges on your order.Flat Rate Shipping
For your convenience, we utilize flat-rate shipping costs per USPS method. This means that most domestic USPS orders will have shipping charges calculated automatically and attached during the checkout process. Certain oversize or overweight items may require an additional USPS fee. We are not making money off your shipping and handling fees, we are only trying to cover the cost of delivering your purchase in a timely and reliable fashion. All shipping insurance is paid by Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania on orders over $100.00. If you require additional insurance, please let us know in the comment section of the order form or add it upon checkout.Order Expediting and Rush Delivery
All orders are packaged and shipped in the order they were received. In order to provide the best possible service to all our customers, we will not expedite individual orders under normal circumstances. We may allow (at our discretion) rush delivery to public and private utilities in cases of service interruption. UPS or FedEx Accounts
We will happily ship using your UPS or FedEx account #, provided that it is included in the "Comment" section of the order form with any additional instructions you may have.USPS Prioityl or 1st Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation Timeline
Orders shipped by USPS Prioityl or 1st Class Mail with Delivery Confirmation usually takes 3 to 5 working days. This is provided for your convenience and for estimation purposes only, and should not be considered a guarantee of delivery within the given timeframe.
International Orders Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania reserves the right to ship international orders via our preferred method, particularly in situations where USPS Prioity Internationall or 1st Class International Mail with Tracking is not available. All of our orders will be shipped from Pennsylvania, and shipping costs will be added to the order total.
Additional Fees and Limitations Pennsylvania residents are subject to 6% sales tax. Tax exempt organzations must specify their status and tax-id number in the comment section of the order form. Your Shipping address must be correct. If any part is incorrect or missing, USPS will charge back $5.00 to the customer for address correction.
Lost or Damaged Packages Items damaged in shipment over $100.00 are insured. Inspect your order when it arrives. DO NOT sign for a damaged parcel without a full inspection of the contents. If you receive a damaged item, notify your local USPS terminal within 24 hrs. or call (412) 301-1080 for instructions. If your order is not received within two weeks. It is most likely lost in transit. Orders may be tracked directly on www.USPS.com with the package tracking number. We can furnish that number, or we can track the package for you. Packages sent by U.S. Mail require a 30 day waiting period to file a claim.

Product Warranties Product and equipment warrantees are issued by the manufacturers, and must be filled out and sent in by the customer. Problems or repairs will be handled by Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania or directly with the manufacturers. We will be glad to furnish phone numbers and contact personnel. Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania makes no warranty, express or implied, with respect to the products. In particular, Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania MAKES NO WARRANTY RESPECTING THE MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS OR THEIR SUITABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE OR RESPECTING INFRINGEMENT. Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania liability arising out of any sale of products to Customer is expressly limited to products advertised as NEW a refund of the purchase price paid by Customer for such products (without interest), or (2) Repair and/or replacement of such products if available, at Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania election, and such remedies shall be exclusive and in lieu of all others. Customer must notify Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania within 48 hours of the web published USPS Delivery Confirmation date of receipt of any defective product that was sold as NEW. This warranty is in lieu of any and all other warranties, whether oral, written, expressed, implied or statutory. Implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and merchantability are specifically excluded and shall not apply. Customer's obligations and Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania remedies, with respect to defective or nonconforming products, are solely and exclusively as stated herein. Further, no warranty will apply if the Product is sold as USED, Condition Un-Known, AS-IS or “NOS” New Old Stock. If product is marked ( New “NOS” New Old Stock) and has been subject to misuse, static discharge, neglect, accident or modification, or has been soldered or altered in any way.
LIABILITIES Products are intended for commercial use only. Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania does not determine the specifications; conduct any performance or safety testing of any products that it sells. Specification sheets if provided to customers are produced by the manufacturer or transcribed from information provided by the manufacturer. Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania does not participate in any product safety engineering, product safety review or product safety testing. Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania cannot provide any safety testing, safety evaluation or safety engineering services. Products sold by Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania are not designed, intended or authorized for use in life support, life sustaining, human implant, nuclear facilities, flight control systems, or other applications in which the failure of such Products could result in personal injury, loss of life or catastrophic property damage. If Customer uses or sells the Products for use in any such applications: (1) Customer acknowledges that such use or sale is at Customer's sole risk; (2) Customer agrees that Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania and the manufacturer of the Products are not liable, in whole or in part, for any claim or damage arising from such use; and (3) CUSTOMER AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania AND THE MANUFACTURER OF THE PRODUCTS HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DAMAGES, LOSSES, COSTS, EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH USE OR SALE. If statements or advice, technical or otherwise, are offered or given to Customer, such statements or advice will be deemed to be given as an accommodation to Customer and without charge and Surplus Sales of Pennsylvania shall have no responsibility or liability for the content or use of such statements or advice.
